So as he heads back on his 700+ mile journey to the far north of Scotland our thoughts and love go with him. In under three weeks he will be in Kenya on a prolonged training period with the Rifles Battle Group, his first deployment outside of the U.K since joining.
His Mum, sister and I already miss him and know that it will be a long four months until we see him again.
Elsewhere having said farewell to one guest, Tiana, Joshua’s girlfriend, we prepare for the arrival of my youngest brother, Adrian. It’s a long time since I saw him last and look forward to spending some time with him.

Clare worked, Sam has been ‘pinged’ so it was just Paddy and I spending the day relaxing.
