Easter Egg will Travel

The wheelie egg is 18 years old, gracing a shelf of treasured knick knacks, while the edible version is about 4 months old, and has sat on my desk all that time.

It arrived with a chocolate Santa Claus in December and while the latter met his demise early on, somehow I couldn't justify eating the symbol of Christ's resurrection from the grave before the celebration of His birth.

And so it has remained tempting me with the thought of that white soft gooey interior with its yellow centre sliding out of the chocolate casing and into my mouth -the devil's own nectar from Bourneville

However 'Resolute' is still my middle name and consuming it is not an option anymore, given my goal of becoming half the woman I was.
I'm considering putting it up for auction- proceeds to go to our local Weight Watchers' Clinic. Any offers? It might not travel too well, but I could post it through the railings to a passing Edinburgh blipper if necessary.
