Early Blossoming

I had a tip off from Peter, my chief blip spotter that there was a flowering hedge in a leafy well to do road in Morningside that begged to grace these pages.

And so there was, a formidable hedge of flowering cherry I think, a bright and spring like cornucopia of pink against the surrounding douce grey stone villas.

Because of its size, I preferred to post just a section of the flowers.
Next month, the Meadows will sport avenues of cherry trees adorned with an extravaganza of the same Folies Bergère frilly pink, but you saw the blossom here first, thanks to my lookout blip spotter.

Being in that airt, we took advantage of one of the numerous coffee shops, did some shopping and came home to sunshine.
Life is good in the sun.
