Evening Gowns

Today I tied many, many bows on the backs of chairs. It felt a bit like tying a bow on a child's Easter dress. The kids go to a private school and tuition doesn't cover all of the school's expenses. So we fundraise. The biggest fundraiser every year is the auction. It's tomorrow night. I'm in charge of the accounting section -- even though I'm not an accountant (but that's another story.) So while my laptops were being networked together for the cashiering side of the auction, I helped get the room ready for the dinner portion of the evening. Auction evening is fun. But getting to that point is exhausting. Thankfully tying bows on chairs took little brain power.
