June rose

A perfect summer’s day. I was away for much of the day doing my massage course. We had our mock practical assessment today which was quite nerve wracking and I made a few silly mistakes, but am very glad to have had this dry run before the real thing next month.

Tomorrow we’ll have a practical session with our teacher who will pick up on the weaknesses in our technique which the assessor fed through to her today. I will have to get in a lot more practice over the next three weeks!

I returned from the course to have a relaxing walk in the sunshine with Andy and Merlin but am now feeling a bit frazzled by the day’s efforts.

I was given this rose as a birthday gift last June and yesterday it came into flower.
