Chichester Canal
I had two aromatherapy practical assessments yesterday (Saturday). It was a very intense day, the preparations for it had taken me most of my spare time this week. Andy kindly took care of Merlin, did some construction at the allotment and made a delicious curry for dinner - all ready as I stepped through the door at 6.15pm.
Today has been a day of trying to relax. We went exploring along the Chichester Canal this morning and discovered some interesting local industrial history - including an old light railway that is now a walking route. The canal was peaceful and beautiful with water lilies and lots of fluffy moorhen chicks paddling along after their parents. We finished the walk at the canal basin in Chichester and stopped for a cup of tea at the canal trust cafe and visitor centre.
This is the view back towards Chichester. You may be able to see the cathedral in the distance.
