A Visit to the Doggy Doctor!
Bella May was due her booster vaccine, claw clipping and worming tablets.
She was impatient trying to get in the door every time it was opened by staff going in and out.
Eventually the vet came out to get her and she trotted in no bother wagging her tail. I was able to watch through a gap in the blinds and she was so good in there, trying to lick the vets face and after it was all done she just lay down while the vet was filling in the forms and sticking stickers.
She got some treats - which she always remembers, hence her eagerness to get in there!
Sabrina’s wee Cairn Terrier was also at the vets today for an operation to remove a large lump on her side. She’s 12 years old but Sabrina said she was bouncing when she collected her this afternoon.
After lunch we went to Skipton. Frank dropped me off in town so I could get a haircut then go to Morrison’s to shop for the big boat trip! While I was doing that he went to the boat to check everything over and water the mooring garden which was quite parched.
He then collected me and we took all the food to the boat and stashed it all.
The tiny freezing compartment was squashed full with vegan sausages, burgers and veggie mince and I managed to squeeze 4 ice cream cornets and 4 vegan magnums (Morrison’s own ;-)
I received some gorgeous proper rubber wellies yesterday with gnomes and flowers on but they only had size 4 - which is my size but they are a bit neat so will have to go back. :-(
Tomorrow will be a tidying/cleaning house day so it will be nice on our return. We will be away for about 6 weeks all being well.
Tonight we’ll be watching the 2nd part of Anne Boleyn.
Goodnight ;-)x
