WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

Snowy and Flo :-) + Moth Extra

The farmer at our mooring has bought two pygmy goats as pets for her 3 year old granddaughter, Leila. They are just adorable. Here they are on the trampolene. They are still a bit shy and wouldn't come to me but they have only just left their mum. I see lots of fun ahead for little Leila.

Bella is a bit perkier today but hasn't eaten anything. She's resting her tum I think. Funnily enough Frank also had an upset tummy and was up in the night taking medicine. I asked him if he'd been drinking canal water! He's OK now too :-)

It's a sunny day! Tidying up outside is on the cards I told Frank the towpath looks like a junk yard. You have to have lots of tools and equipment for a boat and there's only room inside to store smaller tools and his drill. Outside there are things that he's collected along the way like a big boy bouy which we will never use, lots of bits of wood - it's a man thing - and one bench too many! I shall be advising him what to get rid of - I'm still in serious declutter mode!

We are planning a trip!
In July Amelia has her 1st figure skating competition in Sheffield. (Last year it was cancelled due to covid) So the whole family will be coming down from Scotland for the event and staying in a hotel. We will travel down over a couple weeks and meet them there. She has a lot of practice to put in now and goes to her lesson before school a couple of times a week.
So exciting.
Little Lucy is doing well as beginner too and gaining confidence generally.

Having a cuppa just now and some bikkies (part of my calorie controlled diet - haha!)

Then it's back to work in the sunshine!
Have a good day :-)X

Extra Update - just spotted this beautiful moth!
