Who lives in a house like this?

Spent half the night downstairs, couldnt sleep, think it was 3.40 when I finally dropped off, woke just after 8, heard the roadsweeper outside, how did they know I had weeded and swept the front, it just needed that final sweep and spray to make it look pristine! :-/

I was just dressed when I heard a knock on the front door.....my neighbour coming to help with yet more weeding, in the back garden this time. She made a start whilst I made my breakfast.....I did take her a cup of tea out, we stood chatting. I wasnt exactly bursting with energy but got stuck in and we soon made in roads. Just the pond letting the side down, but thats too big a job to tackle before Wednesday.

Once Elaine had gone, I got washed and changed, then walked up to the Funeral Directors with all the little things me and the rest of the fsmily wanted to send with hub for his final journey.....which included his wallet and a front door key, just in case :-/

I sat with hub again, inevitably more tears, felt pretty final when I left.....think a few people in cars wondered what was wrong with me....as I walked down into town. I did pull myself together and as I looked up I noticed this house, set back from the road, I have never noticed it before, probably because we never walked this way. Anyhow, such a beautiful house!

I went straight to Costa, got myself a coffee & a bacon roll, it was 2.30 by this time. Bought a few things in readiness for my visitors tomorrow and Wednesday night, then walked home.

I was feeling pretty down but found a delivery box on my doorstep, turned out to be more flowers, from our friends who we meet up with in Tenerife.Gorgeous white and yellow roses in a bouquet with freesias too......this led me to clean & change the water, trim all the stems of the other four bouquets, quite a job, but they are all looking much fresher now.

Next I went into the front garden to finish off the last of the weeding out there, then got the garden table out of the garage, washed it all down, cleaned and polished the glass top, got the two lanterns out, put on on that table, cleaned the other two tables, thrn placed the other lantern on the black marble table.......Ive worked really hard and am pleased how lovely it all looks, shame theres no one to share it with :-(. I thought Id share a photo of the back with you guys, see extra :-/

It was 7pm by the time Id swept up and cleared away all the garden tools, luckily Id taken out of the freezer a homemade cottage pie for my dinner......one that daughter in law made for me, enjoyed it too.

Then it was on with a few emails that needed to be sent......I am now making a list of household stuff that needs to be done tomorrow. I am tired, so I think its time I turned in now.

Its getting too close, dont want it to come, cos then it really will all be over :-(((

Thank you as always for your words of support and encouragement guys and gals, xx
