Confetti

So tired today......I was still awake at 4 last night, restless, couldn't get comfortable, mind rampant....eventually dropped off, then at 5.10 hub spoke to me complaining about the blackbird singing in the tree outside the window......I was a bit grumpy to say the least, he said he thought I was awake apparently :-/
Woke several more times between then and 9.30.... when I eventually got up.

Its been a lazy day......breakfast, coffee later in the summerhouse. Much nicer again today, sunny with blue skies. I did remember to take my camera out with me this morning, but didnt see any birds other than a few starlings eating the grass seed that hub had sprinkled on a couple of bare patches!

Lunch was a sandwich for hub. I had an omlette with salad. We spent the afternoon outside in the sun.... reading, pottering, watering & suchlike.

After the daily update on TV we went for our usual walk......off the estate and onto the top road, which was extremely quiet, where I took todays blip. Its been a breezy day, the blossom was being blown around, floating down like confetti at a wedding....the white blossom tree is really beautiful and its clusters remind me of posies like those little girls have at a wedding, you can see what I mean in extras.

After our hour out it was back home to sort dinner. Cabbage with onion & sage, carrots, chicken breast, roast potatoes & gravy...... very nice.

A few programmes we have to watch this evening......if I can keep my eyes open ;-)
