Sitting on the fence

Slept ook, dragged myself up and focused on changing the beds, then cleaned the bathrooms......the phone rang, a call to book hubs 2nd vaccination, which set me off. My friend just happened to message me to ask how I was doing......told her I was blubbing, she rang and we talked for half an hour.

One of my neighbours called round with an M&S cupcake for me, at which point i realised i hadnt even had a drink let alone breakfast.....so i took my cupcake and a cup of tea out into the garden, sat in the sun, had a moment, well probably 30 mins, then pulled myself together, went back indoors and picked up where Id left off.

By 2.30 id done, 3 bathrooms, hoovered and dusted right through, steam mopped the kitchen floor and cleaned all the marble tops, then decided i needed to get out for a little while. Walked to Costa, sat outside......it felt chilly and had clouded over. Looks as though the weather isnt going to be so nice tomorrow :-( I like to think someone sent Mr Blackbird here to check on me.....?!

Youngest & DiL came late afternoon, had my tea made for me. We took both our cars round to daughters in readiness for tomorrow.

Everything is in place, just have to get through tomorrow, we've just got to hold it together as best we can.
