Drummed out

I had a lovely photo of daffodils to mark St David’s day but this provided a different blip.

Our washing machine broke down last week. Indeed it tripped the fuse box. And then stopped spinning.

The repair man came today and concluded that the bearings on the drum had gone and needed replaced. To my surprise he quickly sourced one locally and within an hour was back fitting it along with a new control module (the electronic gubbins behind the buttons on the front of the machine).

While he was away collecting the replacement the old drum and seal provided this opportunity. I hope to not have another chance to repeat this blip.

Otherwise a beautiful still sunny day with enough warmth in the sun to start turning my face ever so slightly Welsh red.
