Dismal

Sometimes a mistake can win the day. This was the case with this blurred blip of a wet and windy Princes Street Gardens. It illustrates the dreich day better than the in-focus ones also taken.

It certainly was the most dismal of days after yesterday’s spring like one and definitely one for perusing indoor activities such as baking, knitting and eating. It’s the last one that is the trouble, it’s not easy to avoid exercising quality control on baking for kind neighbours who bombard me with soup.
