A Sunshiny Day
I do love the purple crocuses, they seem to have such a zest for life when the sun shines as it did today.
I watched the sunshiny world out of the window as my book group had a Zoom meeting in the morning and I was desperate to get out into it as soon as possible.
After lunch it was 10° as I walked over the links to Morningside to the hardware shop there.
Usually I see nobody I know en route but today I meet 3 people to stop and chat to- heady stuff!
All this socialising, even if it has to be on Zoom ( I had a very long Zoom call with Barrioboy and Digitaldaze last night) as well as today’s book group, is good for the soul. It’s also nice to find out how to do the tricks of the trade on Zoom, namely virtual backgrounds and turning myself into an animal, the latter not so convincingly into a cat like the lawyer in the USA who then couldn’t get back to being human again.
I haven’t yet found out how to put people into different rooms as Jacquie Weaver did. That might be a really useful ability but I imagine you have to be the host to do that.
