Where’s My Lunch?
We are thinking this is a juvenile sharp shinned hawk but I welcome your thoughts. I was hiding by the back door hoping to get a picture of the birds flocking around all the feeders. In a flash, they disappeared and I was amazed at what landed on the feeder pole. In the fall, I trim most of the butterfly bush limbs and build a safe area by the porch where the birds can hide. They surely took cover in an instant.
Hubby visited my mother when he did his routine inspection of our camper which we store at her house. She was delighted to get new crosswords and sent him home with cookies. In the mean time, I baked a homemade apple pie so we are back in the dessert business. Then I gathered and documented our charitable donation data for taxes while using the heating pad on that pulled shoulder muscle. Hubby hooked me up to the TENS machine when he got home. Wish it would heal so I can get off the couch and be productive. Dinner is all cooked so we’ll enjoy time reading by the fire this evening. We have more snow in the forecast for the rest of the week. Thanks for your stars and comments.
