Frozen Falls

The big freeze continues, although it was warmer in the sunshine.  Mostly sunny all day, with the odd wintery shower passing over.  Calm, but a chilly breeze tonight.  Sunset is getting later, and still light after 5pm now.

I've been working from home again today, and working through photos in the archive.  A lovely day for my lunchtime walk.  Friend Julie popped by with my belated birthday cake, which featured me and Sammy sledging the other day, love it.  Mam and dad popped by for a walk this evening.  Feet up now.  That's a week with no new Coronavirus cases recorded, and the vaccine procedures well underway.

I enjoyed a fine walk up the hill, and still so cold.  There still a bit of snow up the hills, and still frozen, where things are in the shade.  I came across this small waterfall, which has frozen solid, and not looking like it's going to defrost anytime soon.  The cold snap sure has brought some lovely scenes with it.  Taken up the Catpund burn, Cunningsburgh.

The extra shows the waterfall from behind.
