Little Snaw Sooth Ower

Flat calm most of the day, with a cold breeze tonight.  Sunny all day, with one heavy snow shower this morning.  Clear skies tonight.

I've been working from home today, and working through photos.  Had to nip down the road at lunchtime, and fetch a prescription for dad.  Me and mam took the opportunity for a walk too.  More walkies this evening, and swung by Madeline's, to see how they were after their Covid-19 injection.  Feet up now.  Day six with no new Coronavirus cases in Shetland.

It's been a long cold spell for a while now, but as far as snow goes, it's been very patchy over the isles.  Most of the snow is north and west, with very little over the south mainland.  Any snow than has fallen over the south has soon thawed in the sun.  Here you can clearly see which hill has had the sun shining on it, and which has been in the shade.  Taken at the Red Burn, Bigton.
