To coin a phrase ...

This trove has been accumulated over the decades. Some has been given to me by my grandfather. Some is pre U.K. decimalisation. Some is from our own travels. Some from our children’s. T put all these coins into a low acidic wash. We wondered what infections might have been transmitted by these coins when they were in circulation. We also struggled to remember the last time we actually used cash. Contactless is now the new cashless norm. Yet another unexpected consequence of this pandemic.
