Omicron

Up until mid afternoon today my knowledge of the Greek alphabet was limited ,almost solely, to alpha and omega! Omicron, the fifteenth letter has butted into my consciousness as the WHO have used its name for a new and potentially alarming Corona virus variant. Just when we thought it safe to lower our guard a little against Covid we are suddenly back in the grip of a new strain.

Blissfully unaware of all this, these two are great company on the walk home to our house and a fun time with them ensues until their parents have finished work for the week.

Stormy weather is battering the North East of Britain this evening. It’s still very calm here
