There are only 7 Christmas lights on lamp posts plus a tree here in Portobello. In these austere times we are thankful for any largesse the cash strapped Council can spare. What the unfestive Council does not have is ably compensated for by the cheerfully lit shop windows. That sense of seasonal cheer will be further enhanced by the imminent “Window Wanderland” coming to Portobello very soon!
