Mooning

Revisiting a moon shot this evening. Last time I tried I went straight in for a full moon, but then I read somewhere that the craters don't look so good when the sun is reflecting straight onto them. Apparently you need a partial moon so you get shadow on the craters. Either way I think the moon is bloody amazing when you give it a proper look.

Had lunch with my friend Shelley and her kids today. She broke her foot recently and got so fed up not being able to do anything that she had a crazy moment and went running. She got 10 minutes down the road and hobbled home, having to cut herself out of her shoes. Very swollen again now :(
I love my Shelley, she's had such a crappy few months and shes kept her dignity and managed to put her kids first at every corner. I really admire her strength, even though she doesnt see how strong she is.
