Tea & Cake
Woohoo, half term in full swing here. We still had to take J to work this morning but we dawdled around the place having a leisurely late breakfast together. I really wanted to watch the BBC penguin documentary with the kids but they weren't having any of it as they were on a mission to teach L how to play snap. Unsuccessfully. L did a fab job of showering the floor in picture cards instead.
Went to visit friends across town this afternoon, bringing strawberries and happy faces. Ziggi's kids have lots of different toys to the ones we have here, so they all played nicely together all afternoon.
We popped up to J's coffee shop a little early to collect him so we could try their 'babiccino' and cookie from the menu.
You may recall our dramas a couple of weeks ago when L's head came off her beloved toy. A parcel arrived today from America with a Woody and his best friend Jessie inside. They talk and everything! She really couldn't believe her eyes and haven't left her hands since.
Although we did find a replacement identical to the one L broke, I've been really scared about it happening to the replacement. Especially as we don't know the life this one had before being listed on ebay. Hopefully she'll bond with these new guys as well. There's certainly not a lot of space left in her bed this evening, thats for sure!
