Footprints in Photos

Right on the nose there

We got up like we meant business today. J went straight to Tesco for a french stick while the girls and I set about eating a loaf of bread for brekkie. Lots of wedding chat and realising the scary amount of things we still need to acheive. The trauma of arranging logistics for how the day will work is dawning on us now too.

There's heaps of things we inteded to acheive today but in the end we just pottered about, taking photos, eating foods, drinking diet coke, jumping on daddy (kids only ofc!) and getting ready for a friends party in the evening. The girls like to make cards for every event we attend, including birthdays, visits, weddings, holidays, trips to doctors and meeting new people so they had quite a lot of work on their hands before it was time to set off. Sadly though, with all the exctiement they actually left them at home. Oops.

Was a great party, the kids even got to go down to the hall to help set up the disco equipment.A big bonus for me was the costco birthday cake. ;-)

L was the only one still full of beans at midnight! I guess she had a good years practice at keeping mummy awake while we watched the hours roll by.

I do like going out and dont get nearly enough opportunity to these days so it was super to have the whole family together this evening. The only drag is taking all that make up off when I am soooooo tempted just to go to sleep in it!

Ps, the blip is the moment M got bashed in the face by L. It looked like it really hurt. I'd like to say it was an accident but Im not sure I can. :( I dont feel too bad as the 2 big girls were wrestling daddy to the ground and squashing him as this happened. Dont dish it out if you can't take it, right? Hence me not joining them and just taking the pics!
