Baby steps

It's a sad day when your baby no longer fits her favourite shoes. Well I say her favourite, she's not interested in shoes one bit, its a daily battle to get anything other than wellies on her feet, but I loved them. It's these little things about them growing up that seem to get me the most. Its not the tiny shoes so much, more what it represents. All those tiny little changes we down notice, that combine to make big changes right under your nose. Just slow down kiddy winks, just a little bit.

Baby steps for me too. Sunday signifies my long run of the week. Getting there now. Only a slight increase in milage and time but I'm back on my training plan. Only have next week's long one left and i'll be back down to shorter ones in anticipation for the event. Felt so much better when I finished this time than my last attempt. Slow and steady. Baby steps.

Afternoon spent painting nails (half term here), doing puzzles and finally setting up M's electronic organiser thing.

Made a note worthy scrummy dinner this evening. My favourite things are usually simplistic, perhaps boringly so, but think I've found a new contender. Roasted peppers with quinoa, onions & beef tomatoes with scrambled eggs. Heaven.
