Friday mega mix...

According to the radio it was cloudy but mainly dry today ! They should try looking out the window before they read the weather report .
A rodeo day again. 3 quads , a Landrover , and 85 heifers rallied home from the hill into the shed. Went mostly to plan as well, which is always a bonus.
Jim, Simon and Calum here laying some new concrete in a shed floor, a job that has been needing done for a while. 20 tons of ballast, 1 1/2 tons of cement and a pan mixer got the job nearly done.
A trip next door again tonight to bring in a pure limousin cow and calf as the calf is flat out and half dead with scour. Stomach tubed it with some scour powders and will see if it is alive in the morning.
Then a trip into town to pick up Littlemiss . Don’t know what the clowncil have been up to with the roads , lots of cones down the sides to widen the pavements leaving not a lot of room for traffic, then they slap a disabled parking space in the middle of the remaining lane, an accident just waiting to happen. Glad our roads are single track !
