A day of cattle work. Once everything was fed made a start on sorting out , clipping and vaccinating some of the 80 odd bullocks that were housed last week.
The vet came out to take blood samples from 5 of them for the annual BVD test. Scotland has a compulsory testing scheme for cattle for this disease ( bovine viral diarrhoea )
When I was going to check wee brother’s calving cows tonight this Texel ewe made a bee line for the Landrover looking to be fed . After a wee Mexican stand off she eventually got fed up and moved out the way .
