Feeding time at the moo......
Usual morning feeding cattle outside. It's now starting to get clatchy round the troughs and the cattle are getting hungrier so it's like running the gauntlet to get to the troughs with the bags of barley without getting bowled over into the mud.
Spent the afternoon carting machinery to the shed next door and parking it up for the winter. Seeing as I eventually got the silage I cut on Monday baled and wrapped on Thursday before the rain came I put the bale wrapper away first, then the rake then the tedder in front of it then put the combine back in front of everything. That will be harvest finished then
Back down the road tonight to feed the away from home cattle. It was dark by 6.30 pm when the rain came on.
