Lakeland Dippers (further afield)

We had a quick look at another exceptionally high tide which was creeping right up the lane and then did a bit more clearing and put mum and dad’s chairs into the back of my friend’s van. I should have taken a picture of them in situ but forgot. They need re-covering but were two chairs they got when they married. When I married they wanted us to buy two chairs (our IKEA ones didn’t quite have the same 50’s style) so I’ve found it too hard to let these chairs go (and which the hospice won’t take because they have no fire certification ).

Then we headed off to Titchwell to see the seals and have a quick dip. Very windy still and lots of kite surfers out.

Picked up boxes from the supermarket on our way back and then had a late lunch before my friend started her long trek home, kindly taking the chairs back to cumbria with her.
