Barf on Bassenthwaite

Yoga and walking day 2. Another gentle morning of yoga, expertly led. This was after an indulgent Cumbrian breakfast involving two slices (they were small) of fried bread, so it was useful to find out that this indulgence had no negative effect on my inclination and competence to practise yoga so I will repeat tomorrow.
The afternoon was dry, less breezy than yesterday, and sometimes sunny. Perfect for a stroll around part of Lake Bassenthwaite. The water looked perfect for a wild swim which segued into a conversation about an introductory wild swimming course based in Ambleside, now on my to do list.
The blip is looking over to Barf.
During dinner the weather improved again and I managed to get a reasonable extra blip of Skiddaw, missing by minutes a second swathe of hazy evening sunshine on the lower slopes.
I have no idea why the image appears in this position, I have edited it but each time I attempt to upload it reverts back to the original image. Oh well.
