Lavender Polish

I had my first proper outing since before lockdown today. It was lovely. My daughter and I drove our Honda S2000s in convoy to a workshop near Sevenoaks in Kent. The guy who custom built her exhaust had made a pair of bungs to reduce the sound a bit so that the car will pass track day noise tests.

When we collected the car after the exhaust had been fitted a few years ago we stopped at a farm shop which turns out to be on the largest lavender farm in the country. The lavender was in full bloom today so we went for a walk in the fields. Many of the visiting women were wearing what looked like nighties and floppy hats with perfect make-up and coiffed tresses.
