Night and day

It was beautiful to look out the window this morning and see all the fresh snow which had fallen overnight. Not so wonderful when I tried to drive back up the hill to our house after nursery drop off and got stuck, only making it to the top after 3 people kindly pushed my car!

This evening was also stressful but because Ethan was clearly overtired after nursery and we had tantrum after tantrum from him. I ended up feeling like a really horrid mummy after I put him to bed with no story as a result of the last one. His sobbing was heartbreaking, especially when he came running back out his room, tried to give me a smile and said "but I'm not being naughty any more". I had to try to stay firm which resulted in many more tears from him. Ahhh it's tough sometimes!
