Room with a view

My hotel room in Manchester might not have had the most scienic view in the world, but I thought it was fun to compare how it looked just after midnight when I went to bed and just before 9am when I got up!

I met up with my friends for breakfast at Frankie and Benny's. Doesn't food taste amazing the morning after a night out on the tiles! We then all started our journey's home, to Scotland, Leeds, Warrington, the Lakes and Berkshire. We really did come from all over the country!

I finally got home at 4.30pm to big smiles and hugs from Ethan. Hubbie seems to have coped very well with his first whole weekend alone with Ethan. Yesterday, he took him to gymnastics, the zoo (where they saw the pandas), to visit his new (one week old) cousin and then to Ikea, where they had dinner! Today then went to softplay, hubbie did a pile of ironing and they made more gingerbread men. I'm pretty impressed and think it calls for me to have a girlie weekend away more often! (Oh and hubbie claims Ethan slept till 7.50am this morning .... still not sure if he's winding me up or not)!
