Daytime Nap

Ethan was shattered after our weekly softplay session with his pals Logan and Adam. For some reason they didn't play together as nicely as usual and kept noising each other up while they were there.

After lunch back home, I inisisted he have a nap. He doesn't have daytime naps very often now. Not because he doesn't need them - I still think he does, but there often just isn't the opportunity what with nursery sessions and playdates etc. However, he curled up in my bed beside me and 5 mins later was sound asleep. I had to wake him an hour later to take him to nursery (where Logan was already there and was really keen to play with him again, despite the soft play session earlier)!

Ethan was so grumpy again at dinner time /bathtime / bedtime and it was pretty hard going. Not a fun child at all and despite the nap still looked very tired. Hope my happy boy is back again tomorrow!
