Mr C’s lockdown veggies

This is our veg plot which is south facing on the top terrace - from it you can see over the roof of the house to the other side of the valley but there is no road access so Mr C has to lug all the compost etc up. Behind the garden are the woods. We have access directly from the garden gate. From there we can take various trails up to the open moorland.

Shona met me at the gate - she too can get into the wood from her garden. We only walked 5 km as my foot was very painful after yesterday. We can walk with one other person not from our household now, 2 metres apart.

Ella is keeping busy - today she poly filled the holes in the walls in the downstairs loo. As a reward she got the nasty pink and purple flower sticker things that had been on the wall, so now her bedroom door is covered.

They have all worked hard to clear the other half of the allotment - they hadn’t realised it was also part of their plot.

I’m ploughing on with Lilian’s Story which is definitely not a good lockdown book.
