Bring me Sunshine

The sun shone for our big day although having already made a start on the cleaning, in some ways it was just another day of chores!   The hoped for electricity failed to materialise.  In the absence of phone service, the power company's web-chat was under siege so I had to let go that issue for today.  Over a litre of de-greaser employed, the kitchen cleaning has progressed to the point where it was safe to introduce food ... so we did, celebrating with a roast dinner (extra pic.)   

In the garden, buttercups have succeeded dandelions.
