Day Off

Apart from cooking lunch and a short spell of pot shuffling I took it easy today .... well after cycling to and from church that is!  A nice workout before lunch.  Most of the afternoon was spent on a sunny garden bench with a good book .... and I stayed awake too :-)

The pulsatillas are at various stages of seed development.  As the seed ripens the stems straighten into an upright position.  I rather liked this intermediate stage, halfway between nodding flower and upright fluffy seed head.
