Repeat after me

Zaluzianskya!

Zal-oo-zi-an-sky-a

A South African perennial popular with alpine gardeners and gaining a wider appreciation.   The flowers, which have a nice scent, open in the evening and close again during the day.  This one, a cutting I brought over from Norfolk, has survived, neglected in a big planter outside and is now proving it's worth with lots of new growth and a nice show of flowers.   More cuttings will be taken - they root easily - for planting elsewhere and sharing with friends.

A difficult night, sleep late and very disturbed but by the end of the afternoon a resolution to this problem seems to have been found.   Tim came, I worked a half day and am now off to exterminate dandelion clocks before they call time!
