Crested tits and tree trunks

These little birds are even more difficult to catch on camera than the wren. We went to Loch Garten after I had been to the Puffin Pool.
A dry day with some brightness and we spent a pleasant hour or so watching and feeding the birds. The Coal tits are the bravest coming to your hand to take a nut or sunflower seed.
Saw a lovely tree creeper too.
We had pea and ham soup in The Boat which was very nice especially as we sat next to an open fire.
Up to the Cairngorm mountain carpark for a walk. Just a tiny bit of snow around. Was hoping to spot a Mountain hare but they were hiding.
