Patch of blue

A little blue in the sky today, but not enough to make a sailor a pair of trousers - as my grandmother used to say. We went to Pooley Bridge for cake to see how the bridge is coming along. There seemed to be a lot going on, but it didn't look much different from when we were last there. I suppose putting in foundations for a road bridge takes a long time. Those pictures weren't very exciting, so here is the big crane that seemed to be moving planks of wood . . . and a patch of blue sky.

We did have cake - just to help the café, although it didn't need much help as it was quite busy.A lot of people doing the same as us I suspect.
