Cold as Ice!

Brrrrr! It was a cold one today!

The phone rang twice; once was Richard from Financials answering a question for me and the second was....well, I have no idea!

He asked, 'Is that Miss Wood?'
I asked, 'Who's calling?'

He hung up! What's that all about then? I suspect it's part of that phone scam whereby someone rings and doesn't leave a message or like with me then hangs up in the expectation that you will phone them back. Of course, it's one of those prime rate numbers if you do ring up. I have read loads of things about numbers like that and have instructed mom not to ring back missed calls unless she knows who the number belongs to. If it's anything important, they'll leave a message, won't they?

Not a single bird appeared in the garden today. I don't think they like my bird feeder much.

About an hour ago, in desperation I leaned out of my bedroom window and took a few shots of the strange lighting in the street and the snow starting again.
