The Racecourse of Life

I'm going to have to change my system! I need to start getting these blips done much earlier as all I want to do right now is go to sleep!

I went to the office today for the first time this week and nearly sat on the floor! Somebody with short legs must have borrowed my chair and lowered it so much, I sat down with a thud and woke myself up with the jolt. I missed loads of opportunities to take a decent picture today. I went up to HR to collect my 25 year service certificate - they had been emailing me since November to collect it as I'd not been to the presentation evening for it. Nice view from the third floor...

I wandered around the shops with Nuzhat at lunchtime while she hunted for a coat for her mother-in-law. The shops were packed. I should have taken a photo then while stood in endless queues of fed up shoppers! Instead, I waited until I got home, wasn't quick enough to catch the gorgeous shot of a robin perched perfectly on the fence smiling at me - he was! - and ended up with the old, tired shed in the back garden where the bird feeder is now located. Ho hum..

Sorry for this quickie. I have galloped through the day for you, had a canter round the block and hopefully will not get the trots or a touch of colic in this chilly weather. Here I must explain to Cara, Pam, and Trish
, my lovely American Blipfoto friends that the news in the UK today has been that horsemeat has been discovered in burgers from Tesco! Have I been eating Tesco burgurs? Well, I do eat the occasional burger from McDonalds but to Tesco burgers, I say NEIGH!!!! I had sausages for dinner but I confess I had cravings for porridge of all things. The oats are good for you, you know?
