Cheffin’ with the lads
A fun session at Food Club today. The young people tasted passionfruit and mange tout for the first time and then we made spicy Mexican bean burgers. It was one of those evenings that just worked. The food went down well and the conversation was good and meaningful.
Then onto Oswestry for an evening with Rick Stein. He was a fabulous story teller and made me want to go and travel around France, one little restaurant at a time. I was almost as star-struck with the interviewer, Claire Ashford from Radio Shropshire, but I probably shouldn’t admit to that.
