This blip is dedicated to Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, my first love.

I'm feeling inspired by yesterday's evening with Rick Stein and I want to try to be a bit more adventurous in the kitchen. Tonight's dinner is not a Rick recipe, but my other favourite chef, Hugh. Silky, coconutty leeks with flaked haddock. I've also brought my camera home from the corner of the office where it has been sitting for months, in a bid to lure me away from my iphone.

And all of the above in a bid to do some fun things in the evening when darkness descends at 4pm. The other option is running and I'm less keen on that at the moment, if I'm completely honest. 

Today was one of those Fridays when the to-do list for the week got a complete ticking off. Such a nice way to head into the weekend.
