Inclement

This morning was Becci’s 6 month review, though it does fee like she’s been with us for a lot longer. All positive. My first boss was such a massive encouragement to me, always praising me when I’d done a good job and though I’m definitely not as good at the regular praise, I hope that Becci felt cheered on today.

Straight back down to earth with a bang though as we heading to a school field in the rain to cook with young people. The weather was disgusting and all of our hands were frozen by the end of it. However, the students coped admirably and enjoyed their curry and nan. We even managed a campfire apple crumble for desert. I still haven’t warmed up.

Now to watch Rick Stein’s Secret France - all ready to see the man himself tomorrow.
