Frosty bonnet....

A frosty start today. Another day of cattle work. A 3 bike rodeo to bring the 80 heifers down off the hill ground where they have spent the summer. Apart from a couple of spooky ones it went largely to plan this year !
Brian from Border Livestock in to have a look at some cattle we are selling. After lunch , brought in a field of cows and calves to tag the calves. Lifted one calf from a set of twins to set on to a cow that had a dead calf last night . Then another one to bring in cos her calf hadn’t sucked. Gave it a feed of milk and hopefully it will get the idea soon !
This was the car bonnet this morning , looks kind psychedelic !
