Getting some air

It was cold and wet but it was windy and this kite-surfer was taking full advantage of it, ending up ten metres in the air at times.
Having got a bit excited about seeing one White-rumped Sandpiper ten days ago, there is now a small flock of eleven of them here - quite probably the biggest group to have made it across the Atlantic. A fair time spent today trying to get a decent photo and failing dismally.
New airbnb guests tonight so a tidy house and best behaviour.
