Down the valley

Friends around for dinner in the evening and quince cheese to make, so I was dispatched off to the valley to buy a variety of things but particularly sugar. Rather better weather there than on high.
Civilized dinner with a couple, and one of thier daughters, who are in the throes of selling their house in Sablieres after owning it for almost 40 years. Quite relaxing as English was the language of choice for all.
