Back to the White-rumped Sandpiper

There is still the small group of these birds at Ardivachar and they are still a nightmare to photo. This is the best I could manage it.
Ruadh's birthday today and how did she spend it? On £80 worth of treatment at the vets. She started throwing up in the afternoon and didn't stop. The vet had a look and after a throat inspection came up with nothing. The poor old dog looks quite sorry for herself....
