DAY FOUR: Felting, Food and Wine

Dear Diary,

We traveled north to visit “my teacher”, at Sarafina Fiber Arts. It was her tutorials that got me started in needle felting back in August. It was so nice to meet her, go shopping in her wonderful shop and even Henry enjoyed chatting with a few felties. Her work is jaw dropping and makes me realize I have a long way to go.

Next, we had lunch in Chesapeake City, right on the canal, where we could watch the ships sail by. Then, a bit of window shopping in the quaint town. (Extra) Finally we stopped at Bohemia Manor Farm Vineyard, which is rather beautiful and hosts many summer weddings on the grounds overlooking the river. (Another extra). Lots of driving but great sights, sounds and tastes! We’ve sticking close to home today!
