Here it comes!

Dear Diary,

It is starting as a little cold rain but it is supposed to transition to some snow.  I have my fingers crossed that it will switch back to rain and wash any snow that does fall away.  Looks like a pretty nasty day ahead with high winds too.  A good day to curl up with my book.

The days are getting darker and next weekend we turn the clocks back.  We are entering the Dark Days now.  The little ones will be more frantic for seeds.  Gaylord tried his hardest to get into the new feeder but he was unsuccessful, so far.  The birds are beginning to figure it out I am glad to say.
